Our Story
Finding yourself again.
MEINOLOGY began at a moment when one chapter of life was changing—and another was finally asking to be written.
For most of my adult life, I have been the person behind the people I love.
I became a wife and a mother, and for more than two decades, so much of my identity has been wrapped around those roles. My husband built a successful and demanding career as a partner at a major consulting firm, and I was proud to be the person supporting our family behind the scenes. I raised our two children, built our home around them, and spent years making sure everyone else had what they needed to succeed.
I wouldn’t trade those years. But somewhere along the way, I stopped asking myself a very simple question: What do I want for me?
Now, life is changing. My daughter is approaching college graduation, and my son is preparing to begin college. After years of being needed every day, I suddenly see this enormous space opening in front of me.
At first, that space felt uncomfortable. I realized that if you asked people who I was, the answers would probably begin with someone’s mother or someone’s wife. And although I am incredibly proud to be both, I don’t want that to be the entirety of my story.
I want to build something that is mine.
That is where MEINOLOGY came from. Our tagline is Finding Yourself Again, because in many ways, that is exactly what I am doing.
The first product I am developing is a modern pill and supplement organizer for women. The idea came from looking at the traditional plastic Monday-through-Sunday pill box and wondering why something so many of us use still feels like it belongs in our parents’ or grandparents’ medicine cabinet.
So much of women’s everyday lives has been thoughtfully redesigned. Our water bottles, makeup organizers, travel accessories and handbags can be both beautiful and functional. Yet taking our vitamins, supplements or medication often means pulling out a plastic container that feels clinical, dated and like something we want to hide.
I want to change that.
I am developing an elevated, discreet modular wellness organizer that a woman can feel comfortable leaving on her vanity or carrying in her handbag. My concept includes seven removable daily modules with separate AM and PM compartments, allowing someone to organize an entire week but take only the day she needs with her.
I don’t simply want to make an old pill box prettier. I want to rethink the experience—how it opens, how it travels, how different-sized vitamins and medications fit, how easily it can be refilled and cleaned, and ultimately how it makes a woman feel when she uses it.
I am currently in the design and prototype stage, speaking with manufacturers about materials, minimum order quantities, molds, customization and production. And that is also my biggest challenge. I am a first-time founder learning an entirely new world. Prototyping and custom manufacturing require capital before you know whether the market will embrace what you’ve created.
But I also see tremendous opportunity. Wellness is no longer something women think about only when they are sick. Vitamins, supplements and daily health routines have become part of everyday life, yet many of the products used to organize those routines haven’t evolved with us.
MEINOLOGY will begin with one overlooked product, but my vision is larger: to find ordinary products women have accepted for years and thoughtfully reimagine them around the way we actually live today.
Starting a business at this stage of my life is frightening, exciting and deeply personal. I am learning things I never imagined I would be learning, from manufacturing and product design to sourcing and e-commerce.
But for the first time in a very long time, when I think about the future, I am not only thinking about what comes next for my husband or my children.
I’m thinking about what comes next for me.
And I hope that one day MEINOLOGY becomes more than a product brand. I hope another woman sees it and is reminded that there is no expiration date on discovering who you are, starting something new, or finding yourself again.
